Are Lancome Juicy Tubes any better than any other lipgloss?
Because they're like $45 where I live! So...are they like amazing lipglosses with a nice smell that lost longer or are they just meh?

i've tried maybelline define a lash, and it clumped more then any other mascara i've ever tired! i have very dense lashes and it's quite a watery formula which i think was the problem, however i've read lots of reviews from people who have loved it, so it might be worth a try is you have sparser lashes.
personally i love maybelline full and soft, that gives me lots of definition and no clumping. i use one coat straight form the bottle, run a lash comb through (which i make from the cup off brush of an old mascara), then i wipe down the brush with a tissue and apply a second coat before the first has dried. perfect kind of natural but defined look.
as for lancome juicy tubes, i'm not a huge lipgloss user, so i'm probably not much help. i do use a juicy tube, and it works great, the last very well and don't feel too sticky. i get them cheap off ebay. generally i use lipgloss over lipstick if i'm going to use it at all (look at mac lipsticks if your interested, the are worth the price!).
but i'm not sure if juicy tubes are much better then other brands, you could look at a review website like makeupalley for some more info.

You have to compare USD to Euro. If you go on line to Lancome.com and compare products from the French Boutique to the American Boutique and then calculate the currency it tells you. For example, Absolue Premium Bx day cream is $126.40 Euros. That equals to $169.36 USD if you were to buy it from the French Boutique as opposed to the $108 you'd pay in the US. personally i love estee lauder. its a little pricey but a really good brand. lancome is good too but it really depends an your skin type. Estee Lauder is for very mature skin and lancome is good for combination skin. as far as foundation i would say estee lauder is better. it goes on really smooth and leaves a shine free finish all day

Seriously, these are the only things that will help slow wrinkling, and numerous scientific skin care studies have been done on this. Some great examples of daytime moisturizers with sunscreen and antioxidents are all of the Paula's Choice sunscreens (available online only), Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 30 (better for oily skin), or Dove Energy Glow Brightening Moisturizer SPF 15 (better for dry skin). I have a hard time finding good makeup because of my skin tone, Im naturally tan and every makeup I get has red tint in it. It looks ugly when I go outside in the sun it looks very red. I have more yellow tones in my skin than reds. I love lancome makeup I buy lots of their products but foundation and powder because they seem to change their shades a lot which annoy me is there anything to get around that part. I want to be able to know my shade and just order online and not have to go in and find my shades every time I run out of makeup. I've bought clinique compress powder and it became very hard and dried up un able to be used in just 1-2 weeks after I bought it and I had only used it once before that. Is that normal with clinique. First, you need to realize that Estee Lauder owns and produces most make up- including Clinique, Origins, Aveda, Prescriptives, Bobbi Brown, and American Beauty. Prescriptives will custom blend your foundation - so that is a good choice if you are having a problem with undertones. Lancome will be a good choice for yellow undertones- but also, you should go to a counter and have a make over at no cost and then take a few days to think about- never order on-line until you know a product well. Your experience with Clinique is odd- no the product should not have dried up like that. In fact, if you still have it- return it. Receipt or no receipt- they will refund or exchange it easily. What may have happened - is that when your skin's oil mixes with the makeup - it can create a layer of ';crud'; on the top layer. First, you need to realize that Estee Lauder owns and produces most make up- including Clinique, Origins, Aveda, Prescriptives, Bobbi Brown, and American Beauty. Prescriptives will custom blend your foundation - so that is a good choice if you are having a problem with undertones. Lancome will be a good choice for yellow undertones- but also, you should go to a counter and have a make over at no cost and then take a few days to think about- never order on-line until you know a product well. Your experience with Clinique is odd- no the product should not have dried up like that. In fact, if you still have it- return it. Receipt or no receipt- they will refund or exchange it easily. What may have happened - is that when your skin's oil mixes with the makeup - it can create a layer of ';crud'; on the top layer. here's what you do!
before you take a shower, put the amount of conditioner your gonna use in a microwave safe container. heat it for 15 seconds. take out and stir. put back in for 15 seconds.
then once your done with shampooing, put the conditioner on your head. you want it to be hot/warm still so hurry. then leave it in for five minutes. you might want to also massage your scalp while doing this so blood starts flowing.
the heat with open cuticles and the massaging with promote blood flow making more hair production.

i was offered a job working at lancome in dillards. there were 4 interviews... store manager, counter manager, regional lancome rep, and someone else... i forget. i got through the first 3, but had to turn down the offer before the last one because i got into a medical program at college, and they could not work with my schedule. we had not finished negotiating the pay. you have to use their stuff, of course, but you get a big discount in the beginning, then a smaller one from then on. you have sales quotas, and they send you to training through lancome. dress professionally, and wear closed toe shoes! have fun and good luck.cute hair
i was offered a job working at lancome in dillards. there were 4 interviews... store manager, counter manager, regional lancome rep, and someone else... i forget. i got through the first 3, but had to turn down the offer before the last one because i got into a medical program at college, and they could not work with my schedule. we had not finished negotiating the pay. you have to use their stuff, of course, but you get a big discount in the beginning, then a smaller one from then on. you have sales quotas, and they send you to training through lancome. dress professionally, and wear closed toe shoes! have fun and good luck.

I have two makeup appointments for prom, one at Clinique, and the other at Lancome. Which one should I keep?
I use to work at gottschalks in the cosmetics department, and I would definitely go with Lancome. The colors that they have to offer are way better. They have more of a variety. As far as foundation or powder I really like Clinique.

MAC - you pay 50 bucks and they have a reputation. They don't work off commission usually (like the others) so they are only interested in the artistry ---

RARELY did estee or clinique EVER give ';makeup lessons...'; so the people who work there - they are going by what they know or have picked up. But what I am saying is - just because the women work at the counter doesn't mean they really know sh*t about artistry......trust me.

I love MAC, it is pretty expensive(1 eyeshadow is $16) but remember that cheaper makeup has lots of fillers in it like baby powder. If you have problem skin, it is probably safer to stick with your higher priced cosmetics, but if not, experiment and see what works best for you.

Lancome and L'oreal are the same company...not many people know that, but being in the business for years I know this for a fact. You pay 3x-4x more for Lancomes' products than L'oreal because:
1. you are paying for the packaging
2. paying for the real estate in the big dept. stores..
3. advertising that is more high end and pricier than L'oreal
I use everything L'oreal...they have amazing mascaras and in many varieties, for $7-9 and their foundation runs around $13-15. The coverage is great, too. Their skincare products are pretty amazing, too. Why would you spend all that money when you are just paying for expensive packing and such from the same company?

Is the photo shoot make-up different than wearing make-up like Lancome, Clinique, Almay, etc?
I had professional pictures done ... I wore my own foundation and the make-up artist applied the rest (powder, eye make up, blush, lipstick).
But my pictures came out as if I did not have any make-up on at all except for the eyes...I looked like a raccoon.

They only difference is the difference is brands. Like Bobby Brown or Cover Girl for example. It is all in the application. Yes, you were under a lot more light and you need to compensate for that. Applying a mineral based brush on foundation over your regular foundation can really cover up and ';glow'; at the same time. Also quality powders such as Mac generally gave a higher pigment content than say any drug store brand. The Lancome pen was made a few years ago and it had two removable ends for shadow applicators. Great for a soft eyeliner. I still have one but the name has rubbed off. If I could get the name I may can find one on Ebay or somewhere else.

Lancome Flextencils or Estee Lauder Illusionist mascara?
Hey guys i want to get a new mascara, im after length and curl cause my lashes are really short. I normally use estee lauder and its good but i was wondering if lancome might be better?Lancome Flextencils or Estee Lauder Illusionist mascara?
I love Lancome, %26amp; have tried there mascara and it works great. I haven't tried Estee Lauder, but I hear from people who have that Lancome is better.
Here's my thoughts of top 5 either by personal experience or by seeing many positive comments about them.
- Telescopic is great for the price and lengthens. (My fave)
- Lancome Defincils is the #1 Mascara for several years (in many style magazines) I have a small sample of it, it lenghthens, seperates,and never clumps.
- My good friend had a very expensive mascara from Chanel, it worked amazingly, but she wouldn't tell me what it's called - I'm pretty sure it was Chanel Inimitable though.
- Also Lancome Hypnose I've heard amazing things about, basically all Lancome mascaras are great!
- I've heard you get the closest to the false eyelash look with Fiberwig.
Those a 5 great choices.
Tip: I wouldn't try the covergirl %26amp; maybelline - If you really want to see what works best for you, go to sephora and try them on, splurging a little on mascara for some brands is totally worth it. Its really hard for me to find a good mascara from a drug store - but I'm happy with Telescopic.
I'm half asain, and have rather short, thin lashes. I look mostly for lengthening mascara (cause all mascara gives you volume) and then when I find one that works really well (great length and little clumps - i comb clumps out, if there are any.) -- I buy it and use a eyelash curler to make them pop!
- A tip to get more volume, focus on applying mascara to the base of the eyelashes.

In my opinion Clinique, but thats only what works for my skin... yours is a different story everybody is different, to find out you will have to experiment with them.
I love almay. It is not greasy. Your face looks natural. It last the whole day.
I would have to say Bourjois. Non-oily, very smooth going on. Leaves skin feeling refreshed. At least in my experiences anyway! Good luck!

i like loreal true match. covergirl is greasy and wears off quick. clinique is clumpy and doesn't spread well. i've never used lancome.
I use Mary Kay foundation, and I have used it for over 10 years. It makes my skin look super soft, and makes me look like i have the perfect complection. It costs a little more than other foundations, but I think is totally worth it. I switched to Clinique for a while and loved that as well, but switched back to Mary Kay.

All of Clinique's products are fragrance free, and they do foundations with and without SPF, which if you have sensitive skin you need to avoid. Another great thing about the superbalanced is that is does a great job of lasting all day, is oil free, and it has silicon in it to absorb natural oils so you don't get shinny. Highly recommend it.
bare minerals foundation is good for every day because it doesn't really feel like you're wearing makeup, but covers stuff well. you can always use a concealer for the really bad blemishes first.

i like loreal true match. covergirl is greasy and wears off quick. clinique is clumpy and doesn't spread well. i've never used lancome.
I use Mary Kay foundation, and I have used it for over 10 years. It makes my skin look super soft, and makes me look like i have the perfect complection. It costs a little more than other foundations, but I think is totally worth it. I switched to Clinique for a while and loved that as well, but switched back to Mary Kay.

the more expensive it is, usually the more concentrated the formula of the makeup is. it tends to be finer and applies more easily than more inexpensive makeup. it doesn't really matter that madame loreal owns all the other companies, you are still going to get a better quality with the prestige brands. loreal also has maybelline and kiehls under their umbrella, among many others.Do you think Lancome cosmetics are still higher quality than L'oreal, even though it is owned by Loreal?

My eyes burn and tear when wearing eyeliner. I have tried different brands-Lancome, Mac, Physician Formula,etc?

I don't wear any makeup except eyeliner occasionally - I am really bummed about this and thought of going back to old Kohl powder but heard some have lead. hmmm all of the ones that you have suggested are quality brands which don't contain cheap chimical that could make your eyes burn. I presume you are using pencil liner, if not then there's you aswer. If you apply liquid liner on the water line it will get in your eyes and sting, it's not designed for that part of the eye so stick to pencil on the water line. If it's pencil that you are useing you could be allergic to one of the ingrediats. to test this apply some of the liner just below the inside of the elbow and don't wash it off for a day. If the skin around it is irritated after a day then you are allergic to one of the ingrediants so you shouldn't use these liners in the future. if not then it is possible you have a minor eye infection and i'd advise you to go see a doctor or an eye specialist and sort it out. it's also possible that you just have sensitive eyes. if this is the case try clinique liners which are hypo allergenic and designed for sensitive skin or lush cosmetics which are made from all natural ingrediants.

I love Lancome Photogenic pressed powder, but hate the $28 price tag. I do not usually wear any foundation, so the powder is all I use all day, everyday. I want to change my eye cream and have been wondering whether I should go for the expensive ones, seeing as I am 35. Over the past years I have used the cheaper brands...Nivea, Garnier, Loreal and for the last year, Specifics (Seventeen). What do women my age use? Should i go for an expensive one or is something cheaper just as good or better? Please give me some suggestions (preferrably not the ones I have mentioned I've already used in the past). On me, i have found out that the expensive ones leave a comfortable moist feeling for the day while the area under my eye look very well when i return home, the cheap ones leave a feelin lasting for 1-2 hours and i dont see any permanent results.

I'm a cosmetologist and use them all the time. Do the ingredients these companies are using really make a difference? YES! My 15 year old had been suffering from psoriasis for two years, nothing we used helped. I went to Ebay and bought a small sample of Creme de La Mer Body Creme (one of the world's MOST expensive skincare lines) for her to put on her knees and ankles (the areas she was suffering); the results were nothing short of amazing. I could not afford the original Creme de La Mer, so I found the site on ebay to make my own. So, maybe you could buy a sample size of the product you are thinking about and then find the stores that sell the actives and make your own! Hope this helps.
P.S. I am 43 and using Arbonne, I LOVE IT. I have been using the entire line and I bought it off Ebay.

I have that problem a lot with moisturizers. Especially if it has SPF. I started using Skinceuticals from my dermatologist and it has SPF and I am no longer burning.

Lancome and L'oreal are the same company...not many people know that, but being in the business for years I know this for a fact. You pay 3x-4x more for Lancomes' products than L'oreal because:
1. you are paying for the packaging
2. paying for the real estate in the big dept. stores..
3. advertising that is more high end and pricier than L'oreal
I use everything L'oreal...they have amazing mascaras and in many varieties, for $7-9 and their foundation runs around $13-15. The coverage is great, too. Their skincare products are pretty amazing, too. Why would you spend all that money when you are just paying for expensive packing and such from the same company?

What are the pros/cons of Fatale mascara by Lancome?
My mom bought me Fatale by Lancome. I don't know what the mascara does, so please tell me. I know it has to be a good products since their products aren't cheap! Thank you!

The best thing to do is to go to the Lancome counter in the mall. They will give you all the tips you need for application.What are the pros/cons of Fatale mascara by Lancome?
When you apply mascara, first don't use too much at a time. It's better to add layers. Wait in between for them to dry. But with ';Fatale'; even one stroke is good.
Then, Lancome's ';Fatale'; is a very good mascara, as the others of the brand (I use myself ';Definicils';).
';Fatale'; will make your eyelashes long and pretty. It adds a lot of volume as well.
you slowly twist the wand as you apply it... kind of catch your lashes in the bristles and slowly brush... it's awesome, but you have to have time to apply.
