I have heard that loreal and lancome are the same company....?

just cause they're the same company does that mean they're the same product?? are there any other brands like that (that have a department store line and a drugstore line)? can you tell the difference between expensive makeup and cheaper makeup when someone wears it?I have heard that loreal and lancome are the same company....?
Rumor has it that there are only a handful of manufactures of cosmetics that produce for MANY lines of makeup. Each brand will have different formulas that vary but may come from the same factory.





Cheap makeup vs. expensive?? I only notice a difference in quality in base/foundation and mascara. Otherwise, it comes down to application. You can look pretty good on the 'cheap stuff.'
